Before devoting full time to her children in 2012, Wendi was a Senior Account Manager for 11 years at a full-service advertising agency that specializes in branding Experiential Destinations (upscale shopping centers, hotels and resorts, transportation retail centers, etc.). She managed the daily account activity for over 25 national retail centers and was the primary liaison between clients, agency staff and outsourced vendors. In addition, Wendi managed the creation and development of cooperative advertising programs through the participation of over 100 national and local retailers. She also worked directly with media buying partners in managing national and local media investments including print, TV, radio, digital and outdoor. Her clients included high-end shopping malls and lifestyle centers in Florida, California, Arizona, Colorado, Canada and in her home state of New Jersey.
A graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU), Wendi majored in Communications. Through much of her college years, she worked in the Public Relations Department at FDU. This experience only enhanced her education and made her that much more motivated to build a career in marketing. Wendi launched her career at a Philadelphia TV sales agency. She negotiated advertising in over 130 national TV markets. From there, she moved on to become a Media Buyer and Planner at a media-buying agency outside of Philadelphia. In this position, she developed media plans for the largest national healthcare and insurance providers.
