Bucks County Playhouse Re-Opens With HALLOWEEN ROCK ‘N’ ROLL CONCERT

Hope Sharla and Alex, Robyn, Josh and Stephen - Tony winning producers who manage Bucks County Playhouse
Bucks County Playhouse, one of the nation’s most historic and legendary regional theaters, located in New Hope, PA
After seven months of being closed during the Pandemic, the Playhouse, following CDC and PA Guidelines, re-opened for a Halloween-themed concert featuring three very talented performers who either sang solo or distanced when on the stage. It was our responsibility to share the information with the press, in a delicate way, since the Playhouse was one of the first theaters to open.
This was all last-minute, so we didn’t have much time to strategize.

We invited the press to come to the theater and interview the producing director, Alexander Fraser, and an actor, Andrew Polec, who is from Doylestown, PA and the son of well-known television broadcaster Don Polec. We also shot our own cell phone video to distribute through e-mail. In addition, we photographed the performers on the stage. This was a three-day concert.

PR Results:
6abc TV came to the Playhouse and ran the story three times: that night, reporter Alicia Vitarelli broadcast a two minute plus feature, the next morning and at noon, the story was repeated. Using our footage, CBS 3 ran a story on the night of the first performance. Then WFMZ TV, Channel 69 in Berks County, came to the theater to conduct a few interviews. Using our footage, the story four times. In addition, nj.com did a story and video and several other newspapers used our press release. Broadway World ran stories twice – in advance – and then, using our footage, the first day of the performance.

Don't Wait Any Longer.
